Welcome to a paradise for the Nooitgedacht breed and lovers of the Nooitgedachter....

Fijnbosch Stud is situated on the spectacular Garden Route, between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. This area is quickly becoming the ‘horse centre” of South Africa and is often referred to as the “South Africa’s French Rivera”

The sweeping Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains are the backdrop to our 64 ha farm which was especially chosen as a home for the rare, precious, indigenous Nooitgedacht Horses!

A stream running through the property is the head water of the Piesang River. It meanders along the boundary of the property and is framed by stony cliffs hiding rare ferns, cycads, Outeniqua yellowwood, ironwood and stinkwood. Spectacular view sites abound and can be enjoyed on a misty, early morning outride.

An entire section of the farm has been left to natural indigenous Fynbos and with its huge diversity of flowering plants there is always a stunning flower show to appreciate.
